Hi Jason,

Bedside is not gone from the market and has never been. This issue is only seen on a few rooted ROMs that are using a version of Android that doesn’t have the right fingerprints for the Android Market. This happens when the official version is not released yet, and fake fingerprints, or fingerprints from another phone have to be used.

It only happens with copy-protected applications, and Bedside was one of those. Since then, I have removed the copy-protection in order for you guys to see this.

Please understand this is a problem with the ROM you are using and not me pulling Bedside from the Market.

Thanks.

Hi Oleg,

That's a bit strange, check your Google Checkout account. Usually the market is pretty accurate when you purchase apps and when apps are paid or not paid yet. I searched for your email address and it wasn't found, so I would recommend you try it again.

Thanks.

Hi Phil,

Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow me to transfer purchases between different google accounts. If you wish to use Bedside again you would have to re-purchase it.

My apologies about this.

Hi Eric,

I do not have my Droid any longer and don't have a way to test this little hack. I might support it in the future but since it's a hack it needs to be tested throughly. I will see what I can do about it.

Thanks.

Hi Daniel- I purchased Bedside back on June 2nd. Last night I received a message stating that the current version has expired and to check the market for the new version. Unfortunately Bedside is now not showing up on the market for some reason so I'm unable to update. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Thanks,
Jason

I feel odd asking this question here, but I was unable to find another way to contact you.

I've been a happy user of the Bedside application for quite some time now (in fact, Bedside + LED Hack has been fantastic), but was told today that the version I am using has expired and to check the market for a new version. I'm running Cyanogenmod 2.2 and a later version of Bedside doesn't appear in the market.

Thoughts on a workaround?

Thanks,
Jim
